We collect information you provide directly: your name, email address, and resume content. We also collect usage data (pages visited, features used) to improve the platform.
Your data is used to power Profine's core features: job matching, resume generation, and application tracking. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Profine uses Clerk for authentication. Your login credentials are managed by Clerk and are subject to their privacy policy at clerk.com/privacy.
Resume text and application data are stored securely in our database hosted on Neon (PostgreSQL). We do not store binary PDF files — only extracted text.
Job descriptions and resume content are processed by Google Gemini to generate tailored documents. This data is sent to Google's API and is subject to Google's data processing terms.
Job listings are automatically purged after 14 days. Account data is retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
